Be sure to get a quality pro vocal PA system, especially for the dinner period. The hall's sound system may be OK, but often is controlled from a remote location.

Contract with your DJ to be 'soundman' on duty for volume, music selection, on/off and mic control for dinner music, speeches and presentations. This helps create a smooth flow of events and moments, free of problems like feedback, too-loud or "can't hear you!"
