Is it proper wedding etiquette to invite people to bridal shower and not to the wedding?
Ideally, it is best to invite only those who you plan on inviting to the wedding to the bridal shower. Many guests will expect to be at the wedding if they have been invited to the bridal shower. The only exception to this rule may be workplace showers that are often given by coworkers to a surprised colleague. Many know they will not be at the wedding but want to share their well wishes with the soon to be bride.
Otherwise, if you extend a bridal shower invitation to someone, expect to invite them to the wedding too.
