Tips for Your Wedding Bouquet

As you make decisions about your bridal bouquet, here are some ideas to keep in mind:

Allergy alert. Make sure no one in your bridal party is allergic or sensitive to the flowers you have chosen for the bouquets.

Comfort first. The design of the bouquet should fit comfortably in your hands. Ensure that it is not too heavy or awkward for you to carry for the entire day.

Complementing the gown. Bring a picture of the gown and a swatch of its fabric to show the florist. Do this for your bridesmaids’ bouquets as well.

Add rhinestones to a monochromatic bouquet. Rhinestones will reflect the light and produce dreamlike sparkles as you walk down the aisle.

Add ivy to your bouquet. Keep a cut of the ivy in water to sprout roots. Plant the ivy in soil to keep it growing after the bouquet has been dried or preserved. This becomes a living token of your bouquet!
